this week we will be looking at a paper by Borch on Broch. The similarity of which has not escaped me. To investigate the Borch-Broch connection I suggest you turn up to UL102 14:15-15:45 on the appropriate day.
The reading can be found here.
next week the forum will look and Daniel Kahneman’s Nobel prize lecture. The meeting will be in UL102 14:15-15:45 and the reading is available here.
With best wishes
following on from the discussion of the LIDA interpretation of Kahneman’s ideas the forum will look at some of Kahneman’s work itself.
There is a variety of material by which we might do this. I propose as a basic we read this abstract of the text and supplement it will as much of the first section of the text itself as anyone can manage. By that I mean the section which follows the introduction and begins with ‘the characters in the story’. I am informed that the essay in appendix B is also worth a look though whether or not anyone has time to read that as well I don’t know.
The meeting is in UL102 14:15-15:45
